EIGHTH ANNUAL CAUSE GALA HIGHLIGHTS A DECADE OF SERVICE TO WOUNDED WARRIORS

Fairfax, VA (November 6, 2013) – The Cause annual gala brings together the community, supporters,
corporate partners, military and veteran’s for a night of renewing hope and lifting spirits.
Veteran’s Day is a day to honor the heroes and their families who make sacrifices everyday in support of
our nation. This Veteran’s Day, Cause celebrates ten years of supporting those who have suffered
wounds in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“The Veterans Day Benefit Gala is about honoring and thanking injured service members, veterans,
military families for their service and sacrifice to this great country,” says Pam Derrow, Cause Executive
Director. “This year we are honored to have two wounded warriors share with the audience their
incredible journey from being wounded on the battlefield to the challenges faced during their recovery.”
Fox News national security correspondent, Jennifer Griffin will return once again to serve as master of
ceremonies at the annual gala. The gala will feature two incredible wounded warrior speakers, Justin
Constantine and David Bixler. Though each of these heroes was severely wounded in different conflicts,
they will share their stories of being wounded in war and the fight that continued when they returned
home.

The Eighth Annual Cause Veteran’s Day Benefit Gala is held on November 11, 2013 at the Andrew W.
Mellon Auditorium located in Washington, D.C.

Cause is a military non-profit based in Fairfax, Virginia. Since 2003 Cause has provided innovative
programs to aid in the reduction of stress and pain for Wounded Warriors and their families. Community
