Bridge Players Hold Tournament to Support Wounded Warriors and Their Families

Fairfax, VA (August 23, 2013) – The annual Comfort for America’s Uniformed Services (Cause) Bridge
Charity event will be held on September 10, 2013 at the Bethesda Country Club in Bethesda, MD. This
fundraiser assists Cause in spreading the word about the importance of supporting Wounded Warriors
and their families as they recover.

Founder and Chair of the Cause Bridge Charity event, Lesley Lavalleye, said “I felt the need to raise
awareness of wounded soldiers and their caregivers in the civilian community. In addition, the event has
raised funds for game carts and other needs of Cause to fulfill its mission.”

United States Army Corporal David Bixler, 2011 USO Soldier of the Year, will speak at the event about his
journey from being wounded in Afghanistan to recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical
Center.

Cause is a military non-profit based in Fairfax, Virginia. Since 2003 Cause has provided innovative
