...here for those who are there for us®

Founded in 2003, Cause organizes programs that support recreation, relaxation and resiliency for thousands of injured service men and women facing months of medical care and rehabilitation far from home and family. These programs are designed to bring a bit of pain relief, relaxation and fun into what are, for many, very challenging circumstances. But they also serve a much more serious purpose: that of helping wounded warriors begin the normalization process and the re-entry to home and community as they take their long journey back to health.

  • Join us in September for our annual "Bridge for Cause" event! Enjoy a fun afternoon of Bridge at the Congressional Country Club, with all proceeds supporting essential Cause programs.

  • The Gala celebrates the critical work of Cause, its volunteers, and the countless people who support the ongoing care and treatment of our nations wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families.

  • Cause programs provide opportunities for recreation, relaxation and resiliency for wounded, ill, and injured members of the US Armed services and those supporting their recovery. Learn More.

  • Check out what we have scheduled in the next few months, then email us to find out how you can get involved. Find out more.

  • We welcome volunteers who are passionate about helping America's military wounded. We have weekday, weekend and evening opportunities available.
